
NINA CHAVES
Nina got into Multi-Sport Racing through Hashing and she has never looked back. She placed first overall in the 2005 North Cross as part of a co-ed team, and won the Female Category of last year’s inaugural Trinidad Coast 2 Coast, placing second in her category in last year’s race. Nina has represented T&T at both the Florida and New Zealand Coast to Coast events.

JASON GOODING
Perhaps the best triathlete this country has ever seen, Jason took home the inaugural Trinidad Coast 2 Coast title in an average time of 12 hours. A 9-time T&T National Triathlon Champion, Jason has also won the lion’s share of regional triathlon events. His athletic versatility has allowed him to adapt very well to the demands of Multi-Sport Racing.

ELINA MAKI-RAUTILA
A Finnish racer with impressive credentials, Elina is the 2001 Adventure Racing World Champion. She has also won the European Championship, the Mild Seven Outdoor Quest, and was runner-up at the Raid Gauloises. Elina believes that Multi-Sport racing has taught her how beautiful and powerful nature is. She was the first female to finish the 2006 Tropical Power Coast 2 Coast.

ROBERT SHARPE
Robert Sharpe (along with Colin Wilson) is the undefeated local Adventure Race Champion, winning every Adventure Racing event he has participated in up until 2004. He has also competed in the last 4 National Marathons, consistently placing in the Top 5 of the 40+ category.

GREGORY SOLIS
Gregory is an inspiration to the entire field of competitors. With a background in running and cycling, he became an avid Multi-Sport Racer and was always at the front of the pack until being diagnosed with cancer four years ago. A true survivor, Greg is back with determination, toughness and an insatiable spirit!

RICHARD USSHER
A former Olympic Skier, Kiwi Richard Ussher is the 2005 & 2006 Adventure Racing World Champion and the reigning World Multi-Sport Champion. His passion for the outdoors and desire to constantly better his performance makes Multi-Sport racing a perfect fit for him. He is the champion of the 2006 Tropical Power Coast 2 Coast.
