Participants - Stage, Activity & Instructions
Day 1
5:30 am – Pre-Start
Proceed on foot to the Start Area at the Toco Light-house.
Run/Ride
Start at 6.00 am.
Sprint to the Bike Drop-Off Area at Sally Bay.
Transition to bike and ride to Matelot.
Race Officials will take your shoes to the End of Day 1 location at Blanchisseuse. There are no Check Points along the way and no support is permitted.
Run
Meet your Support Team at the Transition Area.
Leave your bikes and proceed on foot, along the trail, to Blanchisseuse.
At Matelot, you must start on the marked trail. Going along the beach at Matelot is not permitted.
There are Check Points along the way. Be sure that the Race Officials have recorded your number at each point you pass.
Finish – End of Day 1
Check in with Race Marshal.
Meet your Support Team.
Collect your shoes. Any shoes left behind will be donated to the villagers of the area.
Results will be posted for the End of Day 1.

Day 2
4:30 am – Pre-Start
Leave your Support Team at the parking area and proceed with your bikes to the Start Location by the suspension bridge (End of Day 1 Area).
Start at 5.00 am.
Ride
Ride to North Post. There will be signs and Race Marshals along the way to guide you.
Directions are as follows:
• Proceed along the North Coast Road to the Morne Coco Road in Maraval
• Turn right onto Morne Coco Road over the hill into Diego Martin
• Turn right onto St. Lucien Road and follow it to the end by the Diego Martin Junior Secondary School
• Turn right and follow the road to the next Transition Point
Run
Transition to foot and proceed along the marked North Coast Trail to Macqueripe Bay.
Paddle
Transition to kayak and paddle along the assigned route to Check Point 1, which will be at the entrance to the First Boca.
Paddle in a southerly direction to Check Point 2, which will be on the Western point of Gaspar Grande.
Paddle in an easterly direction to Check Point 3, which is located on Nelson Island, staying on the southern side of all the islands in between (Carrera, etc.)
Paddle in a north-easterly direction to Check Point 4, which is at the Yacht Club. You may align yourself with the tall communications tower on the Yacht Club’s premises.
Paddle in a westerly direction to the Finish Line at Williams Bay.
Finish – End of Race

ALTERNATE COURSE
In case of severe weather along the North Coast during Stage 5, the alternate course will be as follows:
• Stage 4: After exiting the North Post Trail into Tucker Valley, athletes will make a left turn on Tucker Valley Road and run in a southerly direction to the Kayak Centre at Williams Bay.
• Stage 5: This will begin from the Kayak Centre, where athletes will paddle in a westerly direction to Check Point 2 (Gaspar Grande), keeping to the north of the island.
• The rest of the route remains unchanged.
